Journey Track

Journey Track

The Journey Track is for directors, VPs, and emerging leaders who are building toward the executive seat without breaking the operator running the climb. It is the Human Operating System framework, paced for someone with a real day job.

The cost of the climb is rarely the work. The cost is what the climb takes from the rest of the operator while the work gets done. Sleep eroded one hour at a time. Working memory drifting into a low fog. Hardware compounding silent debt at the desk. By the time the title arrives, the system that has to run the title is depleted. The Journey Track exists to prevent that arrival.

Who this is for

Directors and VPs in the middle of the climb. Senior individual contributors on the executive track. Founders in the first eighteen months of company-building. People who are absorbing more responsibility than the previous version of their week was built to hold, and who have noticed that the previous version is starting to fail in small, undiagnosed ways.

If the answer to "how are you sleeping" is a shrug, this track is the answer. If the answer is "I will sleep after the launch," it is also the answer — and the launch is exactly the wrong place to discover that the operator is depleted.

What is included

Twice-monthly one-on-one sessions with Lamar Dunn. Full deployment of the Human Operating System framework. Monthly written diagnostic. Access to the Just Be Community for between-session check-ins, accountability, and the pattern recognition that only comes from being around other operators doing the same work.

The cadence is paced for someone whose calendar is already full. The framework is not. Sessions are sixty minutes, structured, and end with one explicit decision the operator owns until the next session.

What an actual month looks like

A standard month inside the Journey Track runs on two sixty-minute sessions, one written diagnostic, and as much asynchronous time inside the Just Be Community as the operator wants. The first session of the month opens a layer. The second session, two weeks later, closes it. The written diagnostic at the end of the month captures the measurable shift and sets the layer for the following month.

The pace is deliberately slower than the Executive Track. The reason is the climb itself. An operator absorbing a director-to-VP transition cannot run six layers in a quarter and also do the job. Two layers per quarter, fully installed, is the design.

The community sits underneath all of it. Other operators in mid-career transitions are working through the same protocols on a similar cadence. The pattern recognition that emerges from being in the room with that group is, on its own, worth a meaningful portion of the membership.

The framework, paced for the climb

Each of the seven layers — Hardware, Power, CPU, RAM, Storage, Bandwidth, OS — is introduced in order. Hardware first because the body underneath the chair is the most easily ignored, and the most expensive to ignore. Power next because nutrition timing is the highest-leverage variable in cognitive performance and the most consistently mismanaged. Then CPU and RAM, where most operators discover they have been quietly running in degraded mode for years.

Storage, Bandwidth, and OS come later, after the foundational layers are stable. The point is not to teach the framework as a course. The point is to install it as an operating posture before the executive seat arrives.

Case studies

Case study one — placeholder. Director profile, presenting symptoms, layer addressed, the measurable shift over a quarter. To be published before public launch.

Case study two — placeholder. VP profile in late-stage promotion track. To be published before public launch.

Case study three — placeholder. Founder profile in early company-building. To be published before public launch.

Investment

One hundred forty-seven dollars per month, or one thousand four hundred ninety-seven dollars per year. The annual tier saves roughly two hundred and seventy dollars and locks the rate. Founding 100 pricing holds for the life of the membership.

Reserve your seat

The climb does not pause for the operator to recover. The Journey Track is built so the operator does not have to. If the next title is on the horizon and the cost of arriving at it depleted is unacceptable, the next step is the application.
